Peanut Mutter Rescue (PMR) is a not-for-profit organization based in Toronto composed of a small group of passionate volunteers dedicated to saving innocent lives, 4 paws at a time. We aim to rescue all types of dogs regardless of age or breed, with a preference to those "breeds'' that are more often overlooked: MUTTS!

We believe that no dogs should be bought while millions of homeless dogs are lost as a result of overcrowded shelters or being an unwanted stray. Our dogs come from a variety of backgrounds primarily abroad, from countries that face higher rates of animal abandonment and euthanasia.  We do not have a shelter facility, but rather, we depend on our incredible team of fosters who give our mutters a temporary home to decompress while they wait their turn at a forever home.
